The Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail is located in Daviess County and is the only regional jail in the state of Missouri. Although DDCRJ is in Daviess, it is entirely its own entity and is not ran by the Daviess County Sheriff's Office. However, it is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of the Daviess and DeKalb Presiding Commissioners and their Sheriffs. It houses up to 200 inmates.
